- I didn't see the original post, could someone re-state the problem w/Software
- Hut? SH is a small, family owned and staffed business that was originally on
- Broad St. in S. Philadelphia and is still primarily dedicated to the Amiga
- (and C=64) line. The "retarded" woman in question was probably Neddy, who is
- up there in years (sorry Ned) but who nonetheless is quiet capable of conducting
- business. A hardware geek she is not...though she is capable of suprising one
- with her knowledge of what works with what as far as expansion and
- peripherals.
-
- I'm no apologist for Software Hut, but in 10 years I have never had a problem
- with them that would have led me to personal attacks...
-
- AFAIK, SH is the only remaining computer store carrying and servicing the
- Amiga line in this region. That they have persisted this long is beyond
- reason, really. I dont know how they are able to but somehow they have
- survived the crash of C= and almost every major third-party involved in
- the platform, and continue to stock NEW hardware (i.e. M-Tek etc.) To
- me, they should be commended for their efforts.
